Who we are

PORTICO Consulting ("PORTICO", "we", "us") is a Singapore-based university admissions guidance service. This policy explains what personal data we collect through portico-sg.com and our consulting services, why we collect it, and how you can control it.

What we collect

Depending on how you use the site, we may collect:

• Contact details you give us directly: name, email address, and any notes submitted through the waitlist, consultation, or contact forms.
• Academic information you choose to share for admissions guidance: curriculum, predicted or achieved grades, intended course, and target universities.
• Calculator inputs from the Tools page, such as grades, extracurriculars, and target schools, submitted when you unlock a personalised result.
• Basic usage data collected automatically through Google Analytics, such as pages viewed and general location at country or city level.
• Payment information when you book a paid engagement, which is processed directly by Stripe. We do not store your card details on our servers.

How we use it

We use your data to respond to enquiries, run consultations, deliver the admissions guidance you've signed up for, and send you emails related to that guidance (which you can unsubscribe from at any time). Calculator inputs may be reviewed by a PORTICO mentor when you request personalised feedback. Analytics data helps us understand which parts of the site are useful and which aren't.

We do not sell your personal data to third parties.

Who we share it with

We share data only with the service providers needed to run PORTICO: our email delivery provider, Stripe for payment processing, and Google Analytics for site usage measurement. Each of these providers processes data under their own privacy terms.

How long we keep it

We keep enquiry and consulting records for as long as needed to provide our services and meet our accounting obligations, and delete or anonymise them when no longer needed. You can ask us to delete your data at any time, subject to records we're required to keep by law.

Your rights

You can ask us what personal data we hold about you, ask us to correct or delete it, or withdraw consent to marketing emails at any time. To do any of this, email park@portico-sg.com.

Cookies

The site uses Google Analytics cookies to measure traffic. These don't identify you personally. You can block cookies through your browser settings at any time.
