The Admissions Bootcamp

Grade 11-12 · One intensive month · US & UK tracks

Everything that decides an application, compressed into one high-intensity month. For students in Grade 11 or 12 who are done circling the runway and want their US and UK applications dialled in, fast, and properly.

  • Personal statements and supplemental essays taken from blank page to submission-ready.
  • Mock interviews and structured prep for the ESAT, TMUA, MAT, TSA and other entrance tests.
  • A realistic school shortlist and a week-by-week timeline mapped to your deadlines.
  • Daily momentum, the accountability that turns "I'll do it later" into a finished application.
Grade 11 and 12 students applying this cycle or the next, who want to make serious, visible progress in weeks rather than months. Equally suited to UK, US, or dual-track applicants.
A structured sequence of working sessions with mentors, each ending in a concrete deliverable, a redrafted essay, a shortlisted university, a mock interview reviewed. You leave the month with a materially stronger, mostly-finished application, not a folder of notes.
Submission-ready essays, a locked-in school list, interview and admissions-test readiness, and a clear plan for anything still outstanding after the month ends.

The Long Game

1-on-1 Tutoring

Completely individual mentoring, built around one student. No cohort, no template, a mentor who knows your name, your goals, and your deadlines, guiding everything from early subject choices to final application polish.

  • Personal statement and essay coaching, line by line, we coach, we never ghostwrite.
  • Start as early as Grade 6 to build the profile, or come in later for the application crunch.
  • Flexible scheduling that works around school, exams, and time zones across the region.
Hourly
Pay-as-you-go sessions. Ideal for targeted help, an essay review, an interview mock, a strategy check-in.
10-Hour Package
A block of sessions for sustained, end-to-end support through a full stretch of the application journey.
Start with a subsidised 30-minute session. Not sure yet? Book a paid but heavily discounted 30-minute one-on-one where we review the student's profile and talk through next steps honestly. Decide to continue with any plan and we credit what you paid back against it, making the intro effectively free.
You book the subsidised intro session and a PORTICO mentor sits down with the student (and parents, if you like) to assess where things stand and where the biggest gains are. There's no obligation to continue, but if you choose any hourly or package plan afterward, the intro fee is subtracted from it.
Hourly suits families who want help on specific pieces. The 10-hour package suits students who want a mentor walking with them through the whole arc, profile building, shortlisting, essays, and interviews, and works out cheaper per hour than paying hourly, so it's the better value if you know you'll need sustained support.
The right plan depends on the grade, the target universities, and how much runway is left. Rather than a misleading sticker price, we give you a clear, flat quote after the intro session so you know exactly what you're paying for.
